Concentric completed a Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) for the purchaser of a vacant property in an industrial park in Ottawa.
The Phase I ESA identified potential environmental concerns associated with areas of fill at the site and heavy industrial activity in the vicinity of the site.
The Phase II ESA involved both a borehole drilling program and test pit investigation throughout the areas of concern.
The reporting timeline for the Phase I and II ESAs was accelerated in order to satisfy the deadlines set out in the agreement of purchase and sale.
As a result of Concentric’s conclusions and recommendations, the purchaser was able to make and informed decision on the real estate transaction.
