The property consisted of a three storey apartment building which was constructed circa 1955.
During the completion of a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment, representatives of Concentric identified potential friable asbestos in the boiler room and basement hallways.
In accordance with provincial regulations, the owner retained Concentric to complete an asbestos survey and asbestos management plan for the building.
Concentric conducted a room to room, floor to floor inspection of the building identifying potential asbestos containing materials, and collected representative samples for laboratory analysis.
Concentric then engaged in data interpretation and the preparation of both an asbestos survey and an asbestos management plan for the building. Upon completion of the reporting, a briefing with the owner and staff was conducted explaining all aspects of the asbestos management plan.
