In the spring of 2004, it was reported by Parks building employees that asbestos containing materials (ACM) may be present within the facility.

Concentric was retained to complete an asbestos survey to verify the presence or absence of ACM, and if present, document the location and condition of asbestos within the building.

By completing the survey, the owner was able to make informed decisions pertaining to the management of asbestos that existed within the building.

Based on the results of the survey, Concentric made recommendations pertaining to risk management and the implementation of an Asbestos Abatement Program and Asbestos Management Plan.

Concentric provided oversight and air monitoring services during the abatement. The abatement was completed in late 2004.
