In 2006 Concentric was retained to act as Prime Consultant and Structural Designer for extensive alterations to an existing linen cleaning plant.
As part of a design-build team, Concentric worked under tight timelines to prepare structural and architectural plans suitable for building permit application.
The project included demolition of an existing portion of the plant followed by rebuild that incorporated an additional 10 feet in clear height.
The increased roof height necessitated reinforcement of adjacent roof structures due to new built up snow loading.
Construction began in September 2006, with Concentric providing construction review services throughout the project.
