Repairs to various facilities at the hospital campus were prioritized based on the hospital’s strategic ten-year capital plan, which was prepared by Concentric.

As part of the implementation phase of the strategic plan, Concentric completed a three year rehabilitation program to the 7 level campus parking garage.

In 2004/2005 the entire fourth level slab was completely replaced, and in 2006 the upper 100mm of the fifth level suspended slab was replaced.

Both phases of this project were completed while the garage, which provides parking for patients, staff and visitors, remained operational. This aspect of the project presented a significant challenge.

Concentric provided a full range of project management services including investigation, assessment, design, construction review, construction administration, and overall project coordination.
