Concentric staff have been involved with numerous assessment and rehabilitation assignments at this three campus Hospital since 1989.
In 2004 Concentric worked with the Hospital planning staff to assist them with their capital forecasting process, with a view to establishing upgrade priorities and programs for the building stock, parking structures, parking lots, road networks, and curb/sidewalk/pathway elements.
In total, there are several kilometers of access roads and sidewalks, in excess of 30 occupied buildings, 6 parking garage structures, and 10 surface parking lots.
The timing of the assignment was such that it coincided with the Hospital’s budgeting process, which made timely communication essential as well as extremely useful to both partners.
Working closely with the Hospital’s maintenance and infrastructure personnel, we executed baseline studies at all three campuses to establish existing conditions, and included infrastructure memory from our historical association with the facility.
Repairs to the various facilities were prioritized based on the Hospitals strategic direction over a ten-year horizon.
A formal report with graphical interface and a Master Spreadsheet summarizing all anticipated expenditures was presented to Hospital Management.
